Introduction

I've been on boats most of my life and used to sail our family boat on the Hudson out of Beacon Sloop Club. I'd love to get back to sailing.

Are you interested in racing and if so, what type of experience do you have? Willing to learn?

I've only crewed for a race once in Newport years ago, but I'd love to learn. Probably best for me to have some cruising experience first.

Are you looking for crew? Are you willing to crew?

I'm more than happy to crew.

How much sailing have you done? What type of sailing would you like to do this season?

I've sailed about four years, and would love to crew.

Do you own a boat? If so, what kind, and where is it docked? If not, do you rent, charter, or use a sailing club?

Does a rowboat count? Otherwise, no.

What sailing courses have you taken? What certifications do you hold?

    "I'd love to get back to sailing - its been 20 years since I sold our sailboat which we kept at Beacon on the Hudson! I'd be glad to help crew in the spring and I am available 1-2 weekdays a week. I'm a bit rusty but I'm sure it will all come back. Keep me in mind when it's that time again."

    "Option 3 is my least favorite - Option 1 might work. Saturday's weather will definitely be better for me also. I'm driving from northern Westchester - about 1.3 hr NE of Port Imperial via the GW Bridge...."
