Introduction
Been sailing for 7 years and have a 32' Irwin which I keep in Oyster Bay, may consider selling it this season to move up to a bigger boat, we'll see. Still working towards my Captain's license, if I ever get around to taking the test...

Yes to both. Anytime, anywhere, anyhow.
How much sailing have you done? What type of sailing would you like to do this season?
Not nearly enough, but: Sailed the Sound extensively, several overnighters; crewed for racing; a couple of Tall ships (Great Lakes); to the Vineyard, Block, Boston, etc; from Venezuela to the USVIs, and a Pinice around Indonesia (Bali and Sulawesi)
Do you own a boat? If so, what kind, and where is it docked? If not, do you rent, charter, or use a sailing club?

What sailing courses have you taken? What certifications do you hold?
USCG Sailing certificate; several navigation courses, Nautitech for my OUPV (6 pack) license (still have to take the damn test), CPR, etc.

This is a really fun group where everybody is made to feel welcome, whether or not they have a lot of sailing experience. It was good to see people from last year and to meet so many new members. This is going to be our best season ever!
