Introduction

Sailing has become a major passion in my life. I own and am particularly fond of wooden boats. additional bio items: Secretary, Nyack Boat Club, Commodore SEAS National, Basic Sailing instructor with SEAS, Coast Guard Captains Masters License.

How much sailing have you done? What type of sailing would you like to do this season?

A lot on the Hudson, and some in LI Sound, cruising in the carribean and New England.

Do you own a boat? If so, what kind, and where is it docked? If not, do you rent, charter, or use a sailing club?

Green Heron is a 40' Center Cockpit Crocker Clipper Ketch. She was built of Cedar on Oak in 1959. I plan on keeping her at the Nyack Boat Club.

What sailing courses have you taken? What certifications do you hold?

Certified Basic Sailing instructor. Captains Masters License with sail and tow endorsement. First aid and CPR
