Introduction
Many people have told me my new boat is quite fast. Come and help me prove it on the waters off City Island. Or, go day-sailing all season. As expected , we launched early in May.
Are you interested in racing and if so, what type of experience do you have? Willing to learn?
Love to race. Maccabee earned 4th place in 2007. Could use additional or backup crew for Wednesday or Thursday eves.

Looking for crew members -- to race, cruise or day sail. I often day-sail singlehanded, but enjoy company. Also, a few photos for Maccabee's website this month would get you on the water from May - October.
How much sailing have you done? What type of sailing would you like to do this season?
I've been sailing since 1960. I plan on day-sailing (evenings too), racing and some cruising. (Sailing on L.I. Sound under a full moon is absolutely glorious!)
Do you own a boat? If so, what kind, and where is it docked? If not, do you rent, charter, or use a sailing club?
Yes - I'm the proud owner of Maccabee -- a Morgan 27 -- on City Island. (That's about 20 minutes from midtown Manhattan by car, 40 or more minutes by train + bus).
What sailing courses have you taken? What certifications do you hold?
Several (and taught sailing on City Island too).
