Introduction
I own a Cal 27 located at Stuyvesant YC on City Island. I am always looking for compatible crew to enjoy sailing LI Sound.
Are you interested in racing and if so, what type of experience do you have? Willing to learn?
I prefer cruising at this time.

Have cruised from Maine to the Bahamas and everywhere in between. I raced in Lake Michigan and LIS. Participated in Marion to Bermuda.
Do you own a boat? If so, what kind, and where is it docked? If not, do you rent, charter, or use a sailing club?
Cal 27 moored at City Island. Hobie 16 trailered.
What sailing courses have you taken? What certifications do you hold?
US Power Squadron, Basic Sailing and Seamanship.

I had a wonderful time talking with people who had and didn't have boats. The sailing world is so "fragmented" with many potential crew and as well as owners not having much contact with others who are interested in sailing. This is a good way to meet others interested in Sailing. I was given contact information by a couple of people who were interested in learning to sail. I have attempted to contact them without any response. Don't know why. Will use the email feature next time.
