Introduction
I moved to Manhattan nine years ago from LA. I used to crew weekly on a racing 39' Catalina. I miss the water and sailing.
Are you interested in racing and if so, what type of experience do you have? Willing to learn?
Yes, I am interesting in racing. I know that I have forgotten everything I used to know, but hopefully, I will remember quickly. I was the first one on the boat who ran the lines and was typically one of the people who trimed the the sails.
Are you looking for crew? Are you willing to crew?
I am willing to crew. I have a car and I am willing to go to the boat.
How much sailing have you done? What type of sailing would you like to do this season?
For a few years I sailed every week, sometimes more than once a week.
Do you own a boat? If so, what kind, and where is it docked? If not, do you rent, charter, or use a sailing club?
I used to sail with members of a yacht club in Marina del Rey.
What sailing courses have you taken? What certifications do you hold?
None, I learned by doing.
