I am a sail instructor and avid sailor.
Are you interested in racing and if so, what type of experience do you have? Willing to learn?
I have little time to race since I teach sailing on most weekends.
Are you looking for crew? Are you willing to crew?
I am interested in crewing as an alternate.
How much sailing have you done? What type of sailing would you like to do this season?
I've been sailing for 20 years. I have crewed on race boats, instructed on J-24's, bare boat chartered larger boats.
Do you own a boat? If so, what kind, and where is it docked? If not, do you rent, charter, or use a sailing club?
I own a Sunfish and an AMC Puffer. I primarily sail J-24's as an instructor at Manhattan Sailing School. I usually charter once per year.
What sailing courses have you taken? What certifications do you hold?
ASA Coastal Nav, ASA RADAR, ASA Weather, USCG Celestial Nav, USCG Coastal Navigation.
