I know it's really short notice, but it's so nice and breezy out, I want to take advantage of the weather and go out sailing on my boat today. I would like to leave from Manhattan this afternoon -around 4 or 5pm. I can provide a car ride for up to 4 people. The boat is a 41' ocean racer in Bayside, Queens -not too far. I would love to take advantage of your generosity! I am often free by 3:30 pm on Wed. and Thurs. every week (just not Wed. THIS week). I have a profile on the meetup board for this group, but in a nutshell--I'm what I would call an experienced novice. I've taken a basic keel boating class and lived aboard at 53 ft. Trintella (cutter-rigged sloop) for 7 months--sailed from San Francisco to Guatemala. I love night sailing and cold-weather sailing. I'm not much into racing, however. I don't have the chops for that yet and I really enjoy the relaxation of sailing. I am a reasonable cook and a great provisioner! If you respond to this email, I will send you a contact number.
