West./City Island Sailing Group's First Annual Boatless Regatta!
Meeting Description
Who
- All interested in having a fun time as a "crew member" or "captain" as we Pub Crawl around picturesque City Island. Rides will be provided from the #6 train to City Island for our Manhattan attendees. Please contact Karen if you need a ride.
Why
- This is a great way to enjoy City Island and get to know other sailors. You get to show off your skills and learn a few new ones.

Details
Location: We will meet at Harlem Yacht Club at 1:00. Harlem Yacht Club's restaurant will be open at 12:00 if you would like to purchase lunch before the Regatta begins. Directions: HYC
The Teams: Each team will consist of 1 captain and 5 crew members. (You can come as a team or we will have a list to join one once you get here)
The Markers: Each marker is a designated bar
The Rules:
1) Each team must complete a series of questions and tasks related to sailing.
2) Each member is required to have 1 drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) at each marker.
3) Each team is required to have one designated driver or sign up with one of the designated drivers provided
The Winner: The first team to the finish is the winner
Event Fee: $5 each participant
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams
First Place:
Each team member receives choice of one clinic from New York Sailing Center: Intro to Sailing/Refresher (Value: $245) or GPS (Value: $195) or Spinnaker (Value: $275)
Second Place:
Day sail for 6 team members aboard Wild Child.
