Description:

Repairs At Sea Please RSVP by joining The NY Sailing Club Meetup Group, sailing.meetup.com/75

Join maritime expert Dan Lehman, for an informative evening on repairs at sea. We will dine first at Maria's Mont Blanc restaurant from 6-7, followed by an interactive lecture, from 7-9. Learn what to do when your mast is getting ready to come down or when your boat is on the brink of sinking. Crucial mechanical or cable splicing techniques could one day save your boat and your life!

Dan Lehman is a master seaman and has made a life of working and living on the sea, as captain, steel worker, fisherman and sailor. He was also chief engineer on a classic sailing yacht. He spent years traveling around the nooks and crannies in NY's waterways, especially on days off. He is planning a sailing trip through Alaska's northwest passage to happen in the future.

The event costs whatever you order from the menu. www.montblancrestaurant.com
