What: Passage Planning Class/Meetup

Who should come:
* Anyone interested in sailing farther than you can sail in an afternoon
* Anyone interested in improving their boating skills
* Anyone interested in meeting up with other sailors.

Meeting Description: This class/meetup is about planning for making passages. We'll go over what you need to consider in planning overnight passages, weekend and longer trips.
Items we'll discuss include:
* weather
* currents
* tides
* arrival timing
* alternative plans

Everyone will get the chance to plan some passages, using the charts and other materials provided.

Please bring a notepad and pen or pencil.

There will be light snacks and soda, wine and water. We are asking for a $5 donation to cover the cost of the snacks and drinks.

The loft location we are meeting at has been generously provided by fellow
Gotham City Sailing Association member Sylvette (thanks Sylvette!).

Please arrive between 6PM and 6:45PM. Class starts at 6:45PM.
