In a very short time, Karen has nearly mastered a barge load of the aspects of sailing. She's fully focused and approaches the sport demanding much of herself but she's also thoughtful towards others, is fair, and shares her knowlege freely. Her love of the water is as much a part of her as her tireless curiosity and love of life.

Karen has got to be the sweetest person I know. She crews with us on weekend races and is quickly becoming one of the team. More than that -- she's quickly becoming a close friend.
