- Introduction:
- "Hi! My first salt water obsession was windsurfing. Later came my first boat, an Endeavour 32 bringing endless fun and was "singlehandlable." I seek that free feeling again but with my new larger boat, I need crew. Sharing's more fun anyway."
- Do you own a boat? How much experience do you have?
- "Most of my sailing experience is on an Endeavour 32 "Barefoot" that I had from 91 until 02. I sailed her to Nantucket and ports inbetween multiple times. I now have "new" boat that I keep on LI."
- Are you looking to crew? Are you looking for crew?
- "I'm looking for crew but would also like to crew for others."
- Are you interested in racing, cruising or both?
- "Racing's not really my interest. I prefer cruising."
- Have you taken any sailing courses? Do you hold any certifications?
- "Took the power squadron course in Northport, LI but it didn't offer a certificate."
- What is the best time and day for a meeting?
- "Weekday evenings."

The New York Sailing Club Meetup
"The people were super, as always. Very friendly and easy to talk to. The presentation was also as informative as could be expected in the venue. It's tough to learn how to splice under the best conditions."
-
The Westchester/City Island Sailing Group
"This is a real sailor's group. The people that come are hands on sailors."
-
The Gotham City Sailing Association
"The regulars are down to earth sailors and most of the others are delightful and enthusiastic participants. Last year this combination allowed for lots of people to experience NY from the water and also allowed boat owners to share their passion for the water. Win - win."
- The New York Walking Meetup Group
- NYC Italian Language Meetup Group
-
New York City Italian Language, Food, & Culture Club
"I liked the people I met in the group very much. I mostly stayed with a group of 5 - of which 3 seemed to have been regulars. We 2 new guys felt very welcome and had a very good time practicing our Italian until almost 9pm. It was very invigorating and I'm now very encouraged to get more involved with the Italian speaking community, here and in Italy."

Hey Cap'n Paul - After sailing with you, all other boats pale in comparison. Not only are you a great captain, but your boat is a beauty! I look forward to crewing with you whenever possible. :-) Steven

I met Paul this summer when I joined the meetup. I have sailed with him alot over the past couple of months on his boat and my boat. On every occasion we haved had a great time. He is a great captian, is very respectful of his crew and and all around nice guy.
I have learned a great deal more about sailing being on Pauls boat and I hope to have many more sailing adventures with him.
Paul, thanks again for that hair raising adventure to Port Jeffereson, what an intense trip! -
Paul, thank you for giving me the opportunity to crew for you last weekend on your beautiful boat!

"Paul's "No Name" is a beautiful boat. He is both a great captain and a generous host. I have had the pleasure to serve as a crew member in the sun and the rain, each time was a blast! Thanks Paul!
