The season's not over yet

Hi Everyone --

The season's not over yet, and judging by the weather this past weekend it looks like we're getting August in September. Plus, we've got the Annapolis Sailboat Show coming up over the weekend of October 10th to 13th, so let's talk about organizing a trip down there and maybe getting some sailing in on the way back.

This meetup will be at Bahama Breeze again in King of Prussia. Please RSVP so we can get a rough idea of how many are coming, but if you don't get to RSVP until the last minute, feel free to come anyway.

Hi Everyone --

Well, it's been a rough couple of months, but I've finally got a break in my schedule. So let's have a meetup on Monday, July 14th, down at Dave and Busters' on the waterfront, and we will also have one coming up very soon at Bahama Breeze in KOP. I'll post the details for the second meetup soon.

I'd also like to introduce Bill Wible to you as our new co-organizer of the group. Bill was with us at our second Meetup last fall in KOP, and has kindly offered to help out to keep the group going. Should it occur that for some reason I can't personally make it to one of the scheduled meetups, Bill will be there to make sure we've got a table and signs, etc. so that the meetup can still go on.

Sailing Meetup - October 2

Hey Everyone --

It's official. We're meeting at Bahama Breeze in King of Prussia this time, on Tuesday, October 2. The official start time is 6:30, but of course it's fine if you arrive anytime between about 6:30 and maybe 8:00 or so.

Bahama Breeze is behind the King of Prussia Mall, near the IMAX theatre. I'm planning on having some dinner there, but you can do whatever you want. I will say that they've got GREAT frozen Margaritas there ...

As for sailing the following weekend, I'm still planning to go in spite of the fact that I understand it overlaps with the Annapolis Boat Show -- I haven't had a chance to get out nearly enough this summer, and I'm making up for lost time. Let's hope for an Indian summer!

PLEASE be sure to go to http://sailing.meetup.com/82 and RSVP so I get a reasonable head count.

And for those who either can't make Tuesday or really need to meet back in Philly, hopefully we'll have another one soon.
