The Potomac River Albacore Fleet (PRAF) has been sailing Albacores on the Potomac River for more than 30 years. We are one of the largest fleets in the Potomac River Sailing Association (PRSA), which sails from the Washington Sailing Marina (WSM) located in Alexandria, VA. The Albacore is a 15-foot sloop-rigged one-design dinghy typically raced by two people, but it can also be sailed for fun by one person alone, or three to four people depending on weight.
