Sailing Singles was founded in 1980 to provide single adults with educational activities to develop sailing skills, water safety, and to sponsor social activities for our membership. This meetup group was created to share the passion for sailboat racing in the Great Lakes. In 2012 some friends and work colleagues formed a crew and started racing on a Catalina 38 named Euphoria. The crew had a vast range of experience with most of them being first year sailors. During the spring, summer, and fall the crew races every Wednesday night in the LSSC(Lake Shore Sail Club) Sunset Series.
