Austin Sailing Society (A.S.S.) dis-organized social club of sailors and wannabe sailors from the central Texas area. Boat ownership is by no means a requirement, only an interest in sailing and hanging out with good people.

This is a group for people interested in Catamaran, Trimaran or any other sort of multihull sailing, racing or crewing. AustinCats is for Central Texas-based small or large boat owners or enthusiasts, grizzled experienced offshore racers to enthusiastic beginners who are looking for opportunities to meet with like-minded sailors for local lake sailing, Texas coastal excursions, national to world-level racing, intercoastal to blue water cruising or global expeditioning.

This is a social group for anyone who enjoys Lake Travis and the boating lifestyle. You don't need to have a boat, just a love for the water and the beauty of the best lake in the Hill Country.
